Tests related to hormones and prostate health
Men's health
These tests look at the hormone testosterone and, for some men, a prostate marker (PSA). Whether either is right for you is a decision to make with a doctor. These tests don't diagnose anything on their own, and this isn't a recommendation to take any of them — a doctor decides which are relevant for you.
Lipid Profile (Cholesterol)
A blood test that measures the fats in your blood, used to assess your risk of heart disease.
Fasting Blood Sugar (Glucose)
A blood test that measures the amount of glucose (sugar) in your blood after you have not eaten for several hours.
Testosterone Test
A blood test that measures testosterone, a hormone found in both males and females (in smaller amounts in females) that helps control sex drive and supports muscle and bone growth.
PSA (Prostate-Specific Antigen) Test
A blood test that measures prostate-specific antigen (PSA), a protein made by the prostate gland.
Speak with your doctor
Talk to a doctor about urinary symptoms, low energy or sexual-health concerns, and before deciding on PSA screening.
