The Life Savers is a healthcare technology platform with two separate services: a way for people who need blood to reach potential voluntary donors, and access to a network of laboratories for booking blood and diagnostic tests, with home sample collection where available.
We are not a blood bank. We do not hold blood, we do not guarantee that a donor or blood will be available, and we do not assess whether a donor is medically suitable. Final eligibility is decided by the blood centre or a medical professional, and medical decisions stay with doctors and hospitals.
Our Two Core Services
Blood Donor Matching
People who need blood can post a request with the details donors need, and registered voluntary donors can see it and choose to respond. Availability is never guaranteed and we do not screen donors. In an emergency, contact the treating hospital or emergency services first.
Lab Test Booking & Home Sample Collection
Search tests and packages from laboratories in our network, compare prices where more than one lab offers the same test, and book online. Home sample collection, where offered, is arranged with the lab. Availability of tests, packages and collection varies by location, and reports are issued by the lab.

How Our Lab Services Work
1. Book Your Test
Choose a test or package, compare the available labs and prices, and book online.
2. Home Sample Collection
If home collection is offered for your test and location, a phlebotomist engaged by the lab visits at your selected time slot.
3. Lab Processing & Reports
The lab processes your sample and issues the report, which becomes available in your account. Ask your doctor to interpret it.
